Meetings and workshops are where doctors exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and reconnect with colleagues.

The Philippine Society of Venereologists (PSV) is aligned with and supports Health Secretary Dr. Ted Herbosa’s declaration of HIV as a public health emergency today.

This warrants a stronger and coordinated response from the private and public sectors, focusing on spreading correct information about prevention and control and maximizing availabel government and private facilities.

PSV at the same time believes that other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) should also be prioritized together with HIV prevention and control. Other STIs can be co-facilitators as well as proxy indicators of HIV infection.
